The Avon Club Foundation awards two scholarships to exemplary female senior students residing within the Avonworth School District. You can be a student of Avonworth High School, Private Schools or are a Home School student.
Selection criteria include essay response related to your extra-curricular activities and how the past two years have impacted your life and education. First round selected applicants are invited for an interview with the Avon Club Scholarship Committee to evaluate personal presentation and enthusiasm for educational and professional goals.
The 2025 Scholarship Program will open in December 2024. Look for details then!
The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) of Western Pennsylvania recognized the Avon Club Foundation for its philanthropic activities in support of the communities within the Avonworth School District. The club received the honor of Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation in 2023. Jennie Ewing Liska, the foundation’s 2023 President accepted the award on November 16.

You are invited to attend our monthly meetings which are held on the first Thursday of every month, except July and December. The meetings are held at 7pm in the Ben Avon Borough Building at 7101 Church Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15202 unless otherwise noted on our calendar.

The Avon Club sponsors the annual Fall Festival in Ben Avon the last Saturday in September. The festival is open to the public and has been an anticipated day of fun, food, music and shopping of local artisans. We had a beautiful day! A big thank you to all who attended and to the vendors who made the day a great success. See you next year!
